Recent thoughts from Paul

Fail often, but learn from failure

“There are many who have said you should fail often so you can succeed sooner. I would add that this is true if and only if you learn from those failures and devise new approaches and methods to overcome those same obstacles in the future. It’s really not the amount of failures you amass quickly that will drive you to success sooner, but in how you thoughtfully manage those issues when they arise again that will make all the difference for your inspection business.”

Always be learning

“Life is all about living…and living is truly experienced and enjoyed when we continuously learn and improve. This applies to business as well. Learning from mistakes, refining processes, and applying new approaches for business improvement is a way of life for succeeding. Strive to be better today than yesterday, and better tomorrow still – in all ways – and you’ll achieve a level of personal and business alignment success you may never have thought possible.”

Choose wisely along the path

“It’s said that difficult roads often lead to amazing destinations. The same can be said for running any inspection business. Building a solid reputation and a thriving brand takes time and one should expect some serious obstacles along the way to getting there. However, it’s in how one chooses to manage those challenges that truly makes all the difference.”
